115mm Worldham Forge 52100 steel Petty

These knives are from UK brand "Worldham Forge". Being handmade they may have imperfections including hammer marks and scratches, adding to the Wabi-Sabi feel. Each piece is a one off. They are fully functional, sharp and a great entry to the custom knife world. Please inspect pictures carefully before buying and note, the edge on these knives is often thinner than factory knives, so not suited to cutting hard ingredients.

This is general use petty knife forged from 52100 steel sandwiched between two layers of soft pattern welded Damascus. The hand-laminating process and custom heat treatment limit carbon loss from the steel, ensuring best possible performance. It is a flat grind with thin edge and fine tip. The octagonal handle is Turkish walnut. In hand it feels nimble and precise.
