Collection: Santoku | Bunka

Santoku

The Santoku, which translates to “three-purpose” or “three virtues” in English, earns its name from its suitability for slicing meat, fish, and vegetables. Often recommended as a versatile all-purpose knife for home cooks, the Santoku is more commonly found in Japanese households than the Gyuto.

Bunka

The Bunka is a general-purpose kitchen knife, similar to the Santoku, but distinguished by its finer, more pointed tip, which makes it ideal for precision tasks. It excels at cutting vegetables, while the angular, triangle-shaped tip is particularly effective for working with fish and meats.
